Oh man. Ashlee and I have been busy for the past week. Well, really, we've been busy for quite a while with work and little to no social life outside of work. But our latest busyness has been in large thanks to President Bush. Last year he gave new homebuyers a $7500 loan to help stimulate the economy. So, we took advantage of that and decided to redo our kitchen.
We somehow convinced a great friend from Arkansas to come up and do the work. Luckily, for us, he agreed.
We worked for the past 7.25 days and transformed a kitchen from absolute hideousness to something completely bad ass. Let me know what you think.

From the first photo that showed the brick you discovered, I began chanting over and over, "please tell me they keep that exposed." I'm glad to see that you did. That's some fantastic "Spice Up My Kitchen" kind of shit right there.
