BMN: Rebound
Tonight I won't even bother going into why this movie was so bad. No, I've decided that I'm going to try something new. Below are my casual observations from the film, in no particular order:
- Whoever produced this movie spent more on securing rights for songs than they did on good script-writing
- Papa John's product placement – you decide:
a) Was actually paid for by the producers so that Horatio Sans could have a storyline
b) Now greatly regretted by the Papa John's marketing team
c) Both a and c
d) All of the above
- Megan Mullally and Sans both need new agents
- This was a tack-on movie deal for Martin Lawrence since he did Bad Boys II
- Some children actors are becoming uglier
- Brecken Meyer is still in that funk... it's called his acting career
- Patrick Warburton should stick with being "Puddy" for the rest of his life
- When the only kids in the theater laugh a few times, you know you picked a winner...
- Big Momma's House 2 might actually be worse

This movie is in keeping with Hollywood's fear of originality theme also. How many times have we seen this exact same plotline? I havent seen this movie but I am about 230 percent sure that Lawrence takes his misfit school basketball team to a state championship and they win it at the buzzer, all the while the prima donna coach finds his nice guy side. Booooorrriiing. Youre right Seth, this HAS to be a package deal or else Martin's drug habit has severely depleted his bank account and he is really hard up for cash. One of the two.

Steve - you forgot about the female lead who at first find the coach arrogant and unworthy of her respect, only to eventually find that underneath he's actually a decent guy, but then her misinterpretation of an unfortunate coincidence causes her to believe she was right about him in the first place, but then she finds out the truth and gives him her love.

Scooter...duh..thanks man, how could I leave the most likely unneccesary love plotline tie in out. Where was my head?
