Tomorrow is only a day away. And today is a bad-ass type of day. Not only are Todd and Trip on their way up here right now, but I had a wonderful experience over lunch.
Scoot, Nik and I met up at the bowling alley to watch our opponents from this week post-bowl, we're a little addicted to seeing how our record would be affected. While there, we had planned on bowling two games a piece, just for fun.
The fun started quickly for me, four strikes, then a spare, then three strikes. I was easily on pace for my best game ever... except this time, I didn't choke. The second game was almost a reply of the first. After getting print outs of those games, I decided that I HAD to bowl a third game, to see what my series would be.
I ended up bowling my best three games ever – in order, 245, 230, 213 – my previous best was 212. That's a 688 series and a 229 average, pro-bowling scores... scores I'll probably never achieve in one series again.
Wow! Tonight I get to see hang out with my best friends, and tomorrow we start our snowboard trip. What a great day to start off a great week!
Tune in for updates from Colorado – we hope.

wow, what a series Seth. That is truely a great way to start off your weekend. I was kind of aware that you were a bowler from your blog. A friend and I have been bowling twice a week for awhile now. I used to bowl as a kid and have rekindled my love for it. How is your league run, the only league open right now here is the Nascar league and I can only imagine what that looks like. I rolled a 267 a few weeks ago. Good fun. Have fun snowboarding with the guys and be safe on the road.

In honor of this magnificent achievement, please accept a beer on me at some point.
That's freaking incredible Seth. Wish I could have been there to see the look on your face, not to mention the look on Ken's face. Damn. Is there a way to post a high five on this thing?

I just re-found this while doing a search while filling out some medical forms. to try to figure out when I had pneumonia. Ten hours after I watched Seth bowl the best series of his life, I came the second-cclosest to dying that I ever have in my life that I know of. Way to go, Seth, your astoundding performance was so shocking it nearly almost killed me. :)
